Tungabhadra Pushkaralu to begin from November 20 in Kurnool District

Tungabhadra Pushkaralu is going to be held from November 20 to December 1 in Kurnool district. This time, e-pass made compulsory for devotees willing to participate in pushkaralu. Tungabhadra water enters at Kowthalam mandal in Kurnool district and passes through Mantralayam, Kurnool and joins Krishna river at Sangameswaram in the district. The district officials have decided to repair pushkar ghats and construct a ghat for VIPs at Mantralayam. Children below 12 years and aged above 50 are not allowed to attend pushkaralu. Devotees holding e-passes must wear masks, carry sanitisers and maintain social distancing.
