Mantralayam is situated on the banks of river Tungabhadra and Lying 90 kms from Kurnool. It derived its importance form the Jeevasamadhi of Madhva Saint Sri Raghavendra Swamy. The Choultries and Sanskrit School are the real attracting of these places and draws thousands of devotees from South India particularly Madhvas. On there the places to see including Raghavendra Swamy Brindavan, the tomb that Swamy entered alive, Panchamuki Anjaneya Swamy Temple and Venkateswara Swamy Temple are the important visiting spots.
